Toppers & Pass Percentage Expectations

CBSE stopped releasing official toppers’ lists in 2022 to reduce competition, so no 2025 toppers’ names will be announced. Unofficial reports may spotlight perfect scorers, like 2024’s four Class 10 students with 500/500. Last year’s pass rates were 93.60% (Class 10) and 87.98% (Class 12), with girls outperforming boys (94.75% vs. 92.71% for Class 10; 91.52% vs. 84.67% for Class 12). X posts suggest a 2025 Class 10 pass rate could hit 94%+, potentially a record, due to balanced question papers, but this is speculative. Trivandrum led in 2024 with 99.91% (Class 12). Pass with 33% per subject.

What’s Next?

Failed one or two subjects? Supplementary exams are planned for July 15-22, 2025. Revaluation (₹500 per subject) or answer sheet photocopies (₹700) can be requested in June via cbse.gov.in. Original marksheets are collected from schools, with digital versions at digilocker.gov.in. High traffic may slow cbseresults.nic.in; check early morning or late evening.
